Evening Lads and Lasses,

Just wondering who goes direct to the big company's to get food by the ton.

Surely this must be cheaper to do,just get a few of us from club join forces to save some money.

Anyone with any experience buying by the pallet.

Any advise or help welcome.

Gem

Bamfords

Ssseeds

Matador

Or anyone else other options.

Cheers look forward to some replies.

Have been buying direct for a year or two now

Previous to that was buying from a very good friend who stocks feeding but with my work commitments and a 60 miles round trip it was a killer

Have tried most pallet size dependant on whether 20 or 25 kilo bags

Gem 45 bags to pallet 25 kilo

Countrywide 55 bags x 20 kilo

Wiley did he make any savings buying by the pallet, had a trade list from them.Seems very similar to what paying locally .

Gardner you would have to ask him, but you must remember gem comes in at 25kg and not 20kg which 98% of grain companies seem to sell these days

I have just put in our club food order with Bamfords for 2 ton but you would get 1 ton delivered.
