You shouldn't say that Graham. I believe the SHU directive is none should be issued before 1st January.

I believe the NEHU rings for 2014 are white

 

I think the NEHU is the only organisation that sticks strictly to the '2014' rings ideal - new rings have never been issued before January 2nd!

good point but if everything was perfect with issuing of rings then it would be better if it was the 7th of January at the earliest

Yes you are right, when I was club sec. for many years and that was 27yrs. ago no one was chasing me for rings at the beginning of Jan., how things have changed and we used to fly the whole y/bird programme without any sign of the darkness system at that time

I agree too rings should not be issued until after the 1 st jan. Any thing wrung before that is a 2013 bird

Club or fed secretaries can collect (after 2nd Jan)

 

but rings are usually collected at the NEHU AGM - the 2nd or 3rd Saturday in January - the club rings are not posted out
