to be honest , not a Christmas film , but a "Christmas time" film . the great escape ,especially the steve mcqueen escape attempt .every time I watch it I am wanting him to make it over the barbed wire on the motorbike

Mark your probably right on your choice of film but have the wrong character and wrong Street (34th). Kris Kringle was the name of Santa. Clarence was the name of the angel in my favourite movie "Its a wonderful life". Its just one of the old classics that you never tire of watching.

almost agree with you ,I would put them the other way round though with Alistair Sim as number 1 :santa-dance:
