I've been to a few SNFC presentations and in general they've been good nights, I know you get ripped off at the bar but its a one off and you expect that in a hotel, however the last one I was at a couple of years back the presentation lasted for about 5 hours and the band played its first song at quarter to midnight just as we were leaving the hall, talk about the women getting a good night out, well the ladies at our table were all scunnered and never even got a dance, also listened to a lot of women outside smoking moaning along the same lines and saying they wouldn't be back, got to say I was fed up listening to it myself and I'm a doo man, heard they've sorted that out but don't know for sure

Think I was at that one , the committee man (won't name him) couldn't remember the names of the nat winners it went on n on so we had to stay up till 4.30 am at the bar to catch up .

Once again another well organised presentation, food was great though the service was a little slow. Presentation went as smoothly and as quickly as can be done. Rod Adams as the guest speaker was superb.

Excellent venue, must be 15 years its been held at this hotel and in my opinion it should not be moved to any other.

Had a great night, the food was great (no raw veg) the presentation was quicker and went well, the band were on from about 10ish, (but they weren't very good singers).

Overall a great night meeting Scotland's finest and having a great chat. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Wee touch of a hangover this morning.....

Just arrived home from the presentation and had a fantastic night, great banter and people. Hangover wearing off now :emoticon-0167-beer:

Long drive for you with a hangover. How many miles was your round trip ?

By the sound of it those who attended have had a good night which is good to hear, also looks as if ,they have managed to condense the formal part of the evening down a bit which is good news for those who have no real interest in this and want to enjoy the entertainment

Well done on your win mate and if its the only one you ever win you are still in a very small minority of people. All the best for the future. :-)

Have tried to refrain from commenting on presentation night, but feel I need to add my honest opinion. The company and craik was first class, the breakfast was great, as for the meal.............. maybe better not commenting. I hope to have future wins within the SNFC but most definitely will not attend at same venue. Would appreciate some feedback if anyone could agree/disagree.
