Walter what are you on about, you spout of all winter that the national birds should be liberated at 4.30 in the morning months before the race not just a couple of days as you could cook eggs on the deck of a boat in 19 oatcake !!!! It would be a poor race controller that does not have an idea a few days before a race what will likely be happening on race day.

 

By all means put your name forward for the job.

I cant believe what your saying you make decisions to liberate birds on a thursday night for a saterday liberation? and the forcasts on all sites was west

to north west then mid - day veering south west , is there any body else get any different information from any forcasts they were watching i doubt it

spot on Walter there was also another lad caught at our club last week through the same thing

Walter having followed some of your comments over the past few weeks on various posts you do some complaining when people are doing their very best,the best as they see it for the benefit of the birds.If the controller of the birds finds that birds can go thats his decision,if he held back to a later time because tom,dick,and harry was working and the birds run into bad weather YOU....would be the first to complain,fanciers who take on these positions do so,normaly under duress and would really just like to race their birds,but give in at the A.G.M. I would bet you wont take the job on next year.....or will you....? happy racing.....good returns to all.

John you have missed the point its the info on lib line or the lack of it that's caused the probs

also I might add Walter was the north of scot fed president for a couple of years so he has been in the firing line and always stood his corner
