Glad I never knew about those Ripon birds heading past the Pentland/EOS/Traprain birds but it turned out to be an excellent race from Wetherby. 46/47 within 70 mins of first arrival (including half a dozen having first race of year)and last one home before clocks. Good returns all round the club as far as I could tell.

LOl.Ye i suppose but its alot of birds and a lot of work on the hope of a small window? I suppose they could have got away and had a great race??? Who would be a controller???NO ME!!!

Could have been avoided anywie with a bit of luck they should be liberated around 7.00am in the Sunshine WNW 9MPH with very good visabilty just hope that there are no 3rd party infleunces and Davy can get on with his job.

get the feeling we wait till they get there pajamas of, there was a window at 7-8 am and by the time the birds where to hit lanarkshire the rain was gone. we treat birds as if they have no feathers on them. and most people have trained there birds over the last few weeks in a lot worse weather, yes hope davy is his own man. any photos of the site up as yet i think that should help for all it cost to have a video or some photos sent to the new LRPF

Been up in fife not rained since 13.00. Coming over the forth bridge was washed out at 12.00 low cloud with poor visibility.

trust you frank every one else has the fan on the windscreen to de-mist the windows when driving so you can see out them
