hotrod Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Should be using Lanarkshire Feds new transporters simple as that IMOSpot on Vincent , 1000 %
cemetary Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 So has the decision been made on who they are using then, and for what reason have they been picked.
Guest stb- Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 They must be paying the vat to a haulage company as you can't charge vat if you're not registered. You need to pulling in over £70+ thousand to be vat registeredno quite right you can be vat reg under that but if yer over 70k its compulsary to register . :emoticon-0167-beer:
DJWa Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Should be using Lanarkshire Feds new transporters simple as that IMO the geraldys wouldnt be compatable with other transporters baskets when ferrying birds into a central areadont want to be swapping birds from basket to crates after they have been racemarkedthe less disruption to the birds the better imoif they had wanted the geraldys they could have possibly used some of the existing ones from other feds who are not vat registered and wouldnt have to charge vat on top of any hire charge

Quiet sure the VAT issue could be resolved

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 If the info that is on here is correct, then i have to say that im disappointed, 3 years i was on the SNFC committee and each of those years the committee of the SNFC, approached an organisation that use Geraldy vehicle, about the availability to use there vehicle for even just the one race, the gold cup race, this was turned down due to logistics. Now some 3 years on, here we have a organisation Lanarkshire(geraldy) that has tendered a really competitive price for not one race but ALL SNFC races. And yet the method chosen to transport the SNFC, is the same ones that our fathers and grandfathers used. The SNFC in my opinion is not progressive enough, its living in the dark ages, and high time that more decissions are taken back to the body of the hall at the AGM. Anyway, Time for a https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRhsWZ0BbHxY6-XGU8J8MEGZsruq_fcD4zHyauuRc9BJ5oIm0pvrA
geordie1234 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Why would they not pick the Geraldy's if it was a better price or competitive and better transport? Mind boggling

frank-123 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Too many jealous fancier who dislike Lanarkshire and could not bear the thought of us taking the snfc birds. It was a stick on they would use someone else. Doesn't matter Lanarkshire will survive.
