regarden the meter, my father in law who worked with the electricity board had a key that opened the meter and any time his wife was short she would open it and take some out.

so the meter was due to be opened the father in law said to his wife mind and put that money back in.

the guy opened the meter and he just looked at her, a week later father in law meets the guy in the pub a good job i know you how,s that tam i opened your meter last week and there was seven pound,s fifty in it i what about that he said, what about that

there was seven pound,s fifty in pound notes in it.
