shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 you missed the point you get to use multi pads there should be no nomination of clocks just like the UNC AS THAT GIVES ETS a big advantage jmom as previous of course it does you either have ets or clock if you cant afford ets then make do with a clock but i would rather haver a clock ?
walterboswell59 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 VERY TRUE Walter just sp[eaking in general it does matter when you got them going into different lofts and why not 2 of you,s timing them in JMOthen you will have the advantage over a guy who is on his own can you see the problem some will allways have an advantage of some sort ets is fastest way of timeing i got mine buy staying out the pub my choice to keep my birdson a level playing field with the others who have it
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Can't see what difference how much clocks you have the first doo is the most important one regardless of how much clocks you have . In the national can you nae have your ets and a manual set but you can only use one for clocking and the other for a back up .i robbie but you can time into 4 lofts if you have four pads including your pullers but if you have 2 clock set you can only use the nominated one so really you only have a timmer in one loft where ets has a timmer in all and all count
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 then you will have the advantage over a guy who is on his own can you see the problem some will allways have an advantage of some sort ets is fastest way of timeing i got mine buy staying out the pub my choice to keep my birdson a level playing field with the others who have itit no a level playing feild you could have 4 timming pads which all count you could have 4 clocks but only your nom one counts the question is why cant guys have a clock in each loft so 2 can time in , if you time in on 4 pads all your count if me and my m8s time in to 4 clocks only the nom clock counts ,how is that a level playing feild
walterbmasson Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 it no a level playing feild you could have 4 timming pads which all count you could have 4 clocks but only your nom one counts the question is why cant guys have a clock in each loft so 2 can time in , if you time in on 4 pads all your count if me and my m8s time in to 4 clocks only the nom clock counts ,how is that a level playing feild Problem sorted only one doo allowed in club or fed races ets or manual give new starts a fecking card ?
walterboswell59 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 the question was why arnt 2 clocks allowed no 1st clock as most have multi pads i agree with you m8 and i dont know why it has to be nom i have no probs with a clock in every section just as long as all are taken back to club for checking why not may be someone can tell us other than your clock setter might not be to happy lol
DJWa Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 you missed the point you get to use multi pads there should be no nomination of clocks just like the UNC AS THAT GIVES ETS a big advantage jmo having no limit on manual clocks then would put them at an advantage in some instances over an ets system eg- if your ets clock failed thats it your out the racenot the same as if your manual clock failed you can have a second or 3rd manual clockor can get another set before the birds return with an ets you dont have that luxuary as you dont have the birds race rubbered with national raceing that changes as you get a second manual set as a backup you also have a rubber along with your ets ring
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Problem sorted only one doo allowed in club or fed races ets or manual give new starts a fecking card ?even as a new start i would not have wanted a prize if the guy next to me timmed 4 or 5 in front of me but only got his first , its called kidding your self oan :emoticon-0140-rofl:
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) having no limit on manual clocks then would put them at an advantage in some instances over an ets system eg- if your ets clock failed thats it your out the racenot the same as if your manual clock failed you can have a second or 3rd manual clockor can get another set before the birds return with an ets you dont have that luxuary as you dont have the birds race rubbered with national raceing that changes as you get a second manual set as a backup you also have a rubber along with your ets ringthats rubbish Dave you can have a manual clock set along with your ets as a back up if all failed so no advantage to clock guys as ets can set a clock if they want and have them rubbered , i used to get mine rubbered and they had ets rings on Edited February 10, 2013 by stb-

JADE Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Cannae believe this argument still going on ten years down the line. I dont have a problem with two clocks or set as many as you want for that matter. Just needs someone to propose a change to the SHU rule. I wont hold my breath though

I dont have a problem with two clocks or set as many as you want for that matter. Just needs someone to propose a change to the SHU rule. I wont hold my breath thougha think thats what the original question is as other unions allow more than one clock to be timmed into to bring it into line with multi ets timming to even it up .
robbiedoo. walterboswell59 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 thats rubbish Dave you can have a manual clock set along with your ets as a back up if all failed so no advantage to clock guys as ets can set a clock if they want and have them rubbered , i used to get mine rubbered and they had ets rings on you can allso take your bird to club base station and get a time
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 it is a level playing field you can get one to but i do agree you should not have to nom a clock there must be a reason for this rule which could now be changed but i dont see a problem as long as all the clocks set are run off used or not for security reasons can someone tell us why the nom clock rule was made pleaseIs it not your first clock counts say you type no 1/2 in to one clock 3/4 second clock 5/6 third clock as long as there continious or has it changed sorry as long as u state first second third clock

I wont hold my breath though I can't believe this either when the man that asked the question in the first place hastwo ETS pads fitted in his loft.
billt Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 If you can afford all those clocks why not invest in ETS, On a serious note of course ETS will always have an advantage over clocks, that's the reason it came about, to make life easier for us all
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 I can't believe this either when the man that asked the question in the first place hastwo ETS pads fitted in his loft.He wants a clock LoL
