Big Blue for us , quality and comfort at a reasonable price .have stayed close to winter gardens before but wasnt the best .

spot on Andy, glad you took my advice,we would not stay anywhere else now and as you say you get quality at a great price,if you book well in advance you can save a fortune but the only downside is your early booking is non refundable no matter what but worth the gamble,it will probably be cheaper than some of the "cheap" B and B's

it was good advice Tam , we go and visit a cousin of mine on the Saturday night when in Blackpool ,he stays at the same hotel we used for 3 years along with a coach party from North Wales .after hearing of the better quality at only a little more than we paid previously (the wives) were especially interested in the Big Blue .the only negative piont for them was the distance away from the winter gardens , but as i said "its one weekend a year ,get a taxi or tram" saying that Babybird takes the car ,so its 2 minutes drive away :animatedpigeons::animatedpigeons:

Aye i was surprised at that myself Brian no entertainment this year at all but mind you i have only stayed in the hotel 1 night in the 30 yrs i have been going to Blackpool mate so never missed anything but they should/could have put something on as the hotel was sold out but the bar area is always busy and has a great atmosphere and same people there every year so always someone there to have a bit of craic with :emoticon-0167-beer:
