Dilemma ? Help.

I have sourced two Benzing ets's one brand new,never used and the other used for one season only,told the lad I would have the new one and my mate wants the other,the problem is I can't get a club system,was told by the rep. we needed five members with them and they were second hand.ie. not bought off him.

Where do I go from here as I prefer Benzing ? and at the price the two are can't really not buy.

There will be four members in the club as one intends buying at Blackpool and one Bricon.

We have NO club system at the moment !!

Any help appreciated.

when your m8 gets the bricon he will get a club system free, u can use this for all ets with the universal cable for each make of ets, ask mark palmer at blackpool.

Thanks Kirky,the lad already has a Bricon,I'll have a chat with him and get him to call Mark.It's a Benzing the other lad is buying .( I hope )

Can Benzing be set up using the Bricon base ? I was under the impression no.??

we have some benzing lads that flew the wednesday club and marked their birds and read them off on a unikon system no problem.

very short and sweet joan do you not know of anyone who has a second hand benzing base station could poss sell to the man and his club mate who is buying a new benzing clock at blackpool ?

Thank you for putting that up mate,struggling at the mo.

Looks like it's just as easy stopping with my STB,less hassle.The club has a meeting tonight I'll see what the lads think,been in the game for over 60 years nothing gets any easier.

Hi mate you will need a benzing base to load your rings, The universe lead is used for marking not loading rings.

Thanks mate,that's it sorted then,looks like the ets I was about to buy will be no good then,we have a meeting tonight so I'll put feelers out to try and sort something.And I thought ets was supposed to make things easier,not in my case.

You sure Benzing won't give you a base a guy in my club had one second hand and he was given one, what about the guy your getting the clock from does his club not have a base.

if someone in a club is the first to get benzing ets clock and also gets a base station then leaves to join another club does the base station belong to the person or is it registered to the club they left, just curious?

greenlands try unikon systems they will give you all the club gear with your ets even if you are the only one in your club that has ets . we bought ours last year , they might have good deals on at the moment

Best of luck mate, i can't see them refusing after all you will need to buy rings etc from the benzing suppier, it would be in there interest to supply base in my opinion.

I have read this with interest being a club secretary and understand your above posting but are Benzine still saying you need to have 5 members that have their systems before they will loan you the club stuff.

I donâ€™t see why you would need to apologise, or how you would have degraded anyone by asking the question you needed answered, before going out and wasting your money on a product you may not be able to use .

I have just been on the phone to Jim and all is sorted,he will be sending a club system out when I get the details of the club to him.

Yes Steve,hope all goes well from now on mate then I can enjoy the birds,going to cut down a bit,getting a bit too much at the mo.money I save on feed will buy some rings :animatedpigeons:
