We have just done 2 our of filming for BBC 1 Countryfile. Will be screened sunday 1st July 7pm. Was just our story on the Peregrines that are hunting our birds daily, Was a little scripted in some of the things needed said but hopefully me and my dad have done a good we piece and opened public eye on whats happening

Yeah me too derek.. They spent last night at a falconry man and then onto a game keeper. Over to us today and now onto a rspb rep! Hopefully the edits and the usual things that come out tv is good and our views on situation are seen

If your views are aired and they show the Racing pigeon in a good light ye might just have done more for the cause than all the representations in Parliament and petitions signed. Good work Brian well done.

Well Done Brian ,I had local tv crew film me few years ago regarding the falcon problem RSPB definately have massive say in what is shown and what is not bet some numpty gets a say atb mick .

Was about 2 hours of filming and I had a dark hen in my hand that was hawked with still visible injuries last year! At the end the director commented on the fact I had this bird in hand for so long and never once stopped stroking her in my hand! Never really thought about it as it's instinct eh! Said it came over showing the passion for the bird! The 5 crew members that where here had never really paid attention to pigeons before but the lady that was there said she loved them and all 5 crew members left with a bit more knowledge on the racing and passion
