Got nothing :emoticon-0156-rain: very very cold nor east wind this morning , let the birds out at 6.am but headed back in bloody baltic :emoticon-0156-rain:

Still 0/4. They are all hens, freshly paired Friday 1st June. On 7th June they had no vent movement so were selected for the race. I held back all my remaining hens because they did have varying degrees of vent movement, and the last of these laid her first egg Tuesday 12th, -due to lay her second today. I helped unload Section D baskets at Bo'ness yesterday and there were 6 eggs in one basket and 4? in another. So it looks as if I wasn't the only one caught in a 5-day holdover with ovulating hens in the race basket. Best plans of.... :( gang aglay
