lanarkshire lad Posted June 2, 2012 Author Report Posted June 2, 2012 fk all benefits with bopYour 100% correct Derek.
Guest bigda Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 with the east winds, it is not helping it, where has all the west winds gone.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 I would like to know what the Benifits are for Racing pigeons from the WEST ROUTE into Lanarkshire? Don't get restricted to lib time because of other feds. On the west route, our birds can race from racepoints that are on the same line of flight, east side birds into lanarkshire have a different line each week. Don't have to lib at the Bermuda triangle at the Newcastle to Middlesborough area. Pigeons don't get bullied into running up the east side of the pennines, meaning that some / most doos are being taught to dog leg. I want my doos to fly from a-b, wind determind of course. Cheaper to transport our pigeons to race points down the west, rather than having to go cross country over to the east. No Clashing Less airports, inc RAF bases. --------------------------------)))) Jim, can you tell me the benefits of liberating from the east route???? I'll say the first one for you!!!!!! Marginaly less BOP One bad race and some are waiting to crucify the west route.
Delboy Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 the west section needs the lanarkshire fed down the east, volume of pigeons coming into the west
Guest bigda Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 the west section needs the lanarkshire fed down the east, volume of pigeons coming into the west yes, that would be for the national flyers to get a chance of the bird doing a good time.there can be birds timed in Armadale but for some unknown reason, it could be a military thing or not, but birds trying to get into the Coatbridge and the Airdrie area can waste as much as 2 hours, before they come down from there.
geordie1234 Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 is there any chance the yb races will be changed to the east route?
JADE Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Keeps your doos from dragging the East doos all over the country
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 is there any chance the yb races will be changed to the east route?wash your mouth out....sorry fingers......lol

REDROCKET Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 fk all benefits with bopthis covers all routes
REDROCKET Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 is there any chance the yb races will be changed to the east route?NO
REDROCKET Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 One benefit for me is I don't have to expect my birds to be approaching the loft from the north ( Newhouse , Coatbridge) direction. And can look in the direction of the race point for the first off my birds that's the plan anyway.
airdrie2 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 One benefit for me is I don't have to expect my birds to be approaching the loft from the north ( Newhouse , Coatbridge) direction. wullie semple Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 so is it i want the first drop syndrum which dosent seem to have happened this year so far with the east windsgot in one thats what they want and that wee man is still in front off them
airdrie2 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 got in one thats what they want and that wee man is still in front off them lol
b.massey Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 BOP is certainly on both sides thats for sure... I know 5 percy nests from here down to stow. Only about 17 miles too .... And its the line of flight for Midlothian/Pentland/Fife/Dundee/North/Central/Almond valley... (Majority)
Guest WINGS 04 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I don't see any one coming up with why the east is better for lanarkshire just the same thing about the west bop you can't let them out the loft and they are getting hit by them bop
JohnQuinn Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Personally i see no benefit either west or east, the best doos still win the races and we lose some doos every week, and just as we were thinking this one or that one would have come on and done us a turn it goes down. No one has any idea what happened to their respective hopefuls but they'll come up with something that doesn't include their own management. jmo.
REDROCKET Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 so is it i want the first drop syndrum which dosent seem to have happened this year so far with the east windsFareness has finally been restored in the Lanarkshire fed by going down the west do you want the first drop and being one of the furthest from the race point come on and for the bop bit records show that the bop population had increased 10 fold up the east or larder is it is known in the twitcher world in the last ten year so let's settle down fly up the west sort out the men fae the boys happy flying and have nice day

To me it has just confirmed how good the Macaloney's and there birds are even in an east wind an unfavourable position they are still at the top each week.
