geordie1234 Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 how many times per day does your young birds get out once or twice? or open bowl?
greenlands Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 This weather mate once as soon as you can to suit your day.Too hot later in the day, this is just the weather that will bring YBS on JMO.
Tony C Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 Not had mine out for the past 4 days, there's nothing to be achieved exercising them in this heat. As greenlands says heat stress can be the trigger for YBS
Guest lambrechts31 Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 Out every day, YBS, never had it SAME WITH ME, THEY COME N GO AS THEY PLEASE, NO POINT LOCKING THEM UP JMO
sapper756 Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 because of my work and the fact that the youngsters are on the darkness, mine only get their liberty at the weekend, On Saturday once the race doos are home, and early Sunday morning, weather permitting, how ever once they are off the darkness, they will beout morning and evening.
dal2 Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 I just let them oot when I have the time dont do much else until a week or two before racing when I get a few tosses in. YBS is always a prob for me cos I seem tae get it more years than not! Fanciers who dinny get it wilnae tell me how tae avoid it either
