Not had mine out for the past 4 days, there's nothing to be achieved exercising them in this heat. As greenlands says heat stress can be the trigger for YBS

because of my work and the fact that the youngsters are on the darkness, mine only get their liberty at the weekend, On Saturday once the race doos are home, and early Sunday morning, weather permitting, how ever once they are off the darkness, they will beout morning and evening.

I just let them oot when I have the time dont do much else until a week or two before racing when I get a few tosses in.

 

YBS is always a prob for me cos I seem tae get it more years than not! Fanciers who dinny get it wilnae tell me how tae avoid it either :emoticon-0138-thinking:

ur right mate we are the same we race right to last old bird race before we get started wae young birds
