Lanarkshire Delegate Meeting 11/04/2012

Recommended Posts

Hi

Tonight the delegates of Lanarkshire Fed

voted to accept any federation thats wants

to be convoyed with us providing there is space

First one up is Cumbrie and Borders

The vote was 14 for 5 against

Yes I was one of the 5 for this (words fail me)

Think its bad enough racing down the west route

without having birds on our transporter

that want to head west

Cheers

Is Carlisle and Penrith not the correct flightpath for Lanarkshire on the west route?

For the record, ALL birds on the Lanarkshire transporter will be liberated together.

The Cumbria men asked and have been accepted to convoy their birds with us from Uttoxeter (our 6th race) and 3 longer old bird races. Also as mentioned earlier they will join us in the longest Yb race too.

Any other organisations wishing to joint convoy will be accepted on a first come first served basis, as long as we can accommodate the birdage they intend to send, they will be accepted.

The result of this will be a significant financial saving for ALL organisations who travel with us and it can't be a negative when so many fanciers will benefit from this.

IMO, the birds of the relative organisations will benefit too, as the losses to Percy etc will be spread across the country and not condensed to one organisation at a time getting hammered as they pass through the more dangerous areas of the country.
