Wiley Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 A canker tab down the throat and put a good multi vitamin in the water, for three days as well as maples in front of them till dark to get them used to eating large grains. Then garlic and cider vinegar water right up untill training and also no other treatment until then also. I must stress how important it is for young birds to get used to eating large grains it's a must

Guest ghenty Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 My babies have gone straight onto these monster beans and bit of mixed corn, 75% and then a more standard mix with smaller grains the other 25%. Then they have to eat the big stuff if they get rid of all the small first!
