Hope its nothing too serious Frank,that was the first time I'd ever been in as a patient as well.Wasnae too keen on the needles but all the staff and the other patients in the ward were spot on.

had an op on my right hand a few years ago , i done nothing but whinge and complain .they moved me to another room ,the guy in there had a motorcycle accident , lost his left leg below the knee and suffered a stroke to his right hand side ......... i shut up very quickly.

Getting a new Hip 41 years old and fooked with arthritis. I will be out of action for 4-6 weeks. I have got someone to look after the birds so hopefully the racing will cheer me up.

The boy in the bed across fi me absolutely f*cked his leg,he had to get a bone graft from his hip.He said he couldnae feel a thing cause ae aw the morphine they were feeding him.

 

They'll keep yi doped up when yer in Frank and as long as ye take it easy when ye get oot you'll be up and aboot in no time

you will be fine frank my brother in law has had a new hip fitted a couple of years ago at 50 and is a new man,he has even back running the campsie rangers supporters bus in CAMPSIE where you need to be able to run. :lol:

Hi Frank i had both mine done the same time 9 years ago and i was 41 then..just a little tip for you once you have had it done and home again when sitting just put a cushion or pillow between ya legs so you dont cross them over you dont want it dislocating mate, im sure they will tell you that anyway. regards Brian.

expletive remove Alf i thought i was bad Ive had 5 operations in the last year in for scan tomorrow and hopefully that will be the end of it for me feeling much better now and getting in among the birds again that was the hardest part for me not being allowed in the loft for 10 months for fear of infection, I was in 3 weeks ago for a week bad timing on my part as all the birds were on eggs when i came out they had lifted off them as i have said before if it were not for bad luck just now i would have no luck but i think back to last year were they gave me little chance so i have all the luck in the world GOOD HEALTH TO ALL
