Henrik Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Will Unikon be selling ets rings at their stall in Blackpool? You are supposed to buy your rings from the SHU.
sapper756 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 You are supposed to buy your rings from the SHU. I am well aware of that, they are not for me, simply asking if they sell them at the showhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif I order mine through my clubhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif as a matter of interest, how do they make sure that every ets ring used in RACES UNDER shu rules, are actually purchased from the shu? if they believe this to be the case, then they are seriously kidding them selveshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
PIGEON_MAN Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Unikon have always sold rings to individuals at the shows, last price list I had was £1.50 each up to 49 rings,50-99 rings were £1.45 each,100+ were £1.40 each, if your club is a Unikon club member they are £1.25 each 50 is the minimum order.

I would imagine the Office has records of which clubs and/or individuals have purchased requisites from them.

sapper756 Posted January 21, 2012 Author Report Posted January 21, 2012 When you need to appeal a decision to the SHU, if your ets ring or rubber ring was not purchased in the correct manner then your appeal will fail, even tho you may be right. I would imagine the Office has records of which clubs and/or individuals have purchased requisites from them. I understand what you are saying , and yes they should have an inventory of which clubs/Feds. Bought how many rings, but I don,t think they are able to identify individual rings and who bought them. Also, what about all the clearance sales, where ets rings are sold? Or rings that simply change hands from one fancier to another? Fanciers should not have to go to Unikon direct to get them cheaper anyway! JMO
Guest Tooshy Boy Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 I WOULD GO BACK TO RUBBERS AND LEAVE THEM WITH THE LOT.///
K J Young Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Well there,s no way I will ever go back to rubbers , if I did,nt have ets I could,nt race . In the last ten years they have doubled in price the same as every other thing , ie petrol , feeding ,fags and drink .
