JohnQuinn Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I remember talking to you Andy after my father passed away and told you i had a list or targets that i wanted to achieve, it was Win 1st Club then 1st Section Fed then 1st Open Fed then 1st West Section SNFC from across the Water. That was my list in total and the only 1 left to do is Top the Fed. So that is my goal at this moment in time

sapper756 Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Taking one step at a time, firstly I have to improve on a very poor 2011 season, and eventually reach the dizzy heights of winning a SNFC Open race from over the chanelhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gif I suppose I can always dreamhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

yeboah Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Since moving my racing loft from my late parents house to my present address my aim was to prove to myself that i could still win the club flying 16 miles north of first drop ,that i have achieved, then i won 1st fed flying 30 miles north of first drop,my aim then was to win first section SNFC ,I have not quite managed that one yet although I have achieved 2nd 3rd and 4th so getting there, once the family of doos are established get back to the good old days of clocking them for fun from 500 miles, but a lot of hard work and heartaches to get there ,but god loves a try-er (I Hope )
WHITTY Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 KEEP TRYING M8 DREAMS DO COME TRUE SOMETIMES WITH PATIENCE AND HARD WORK CHEERS AUSTIN
Walter swanston Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 My ambition in the world of pigeon racing is to get up on a summer morning about 6.a.m to drink some coffee out on my lawn and watch about 40 birds exercising around my loft.I like to take my young birds about 30 miles and rush back home to hopefully see them in.I like to go to the club on a Friday night and see my pigeons marked through and listen to the banter of the expert fanciers.Like everyone else I would like to win an important race but to be perfectly honest I consider it an honour and a privilege to be involved in the world of pigeon racing and I intend to keep doos as lomg as my health holds up.I suppose these are modest ambitions compared to some but it is a life that suits me.
frank-123 Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 My ultimate goal is long distance racing and the snfc Gold cup win is my aim

AR Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Over the years have been fortunate to win the three open races in the federation programme and win the Scottish central combine channel race so to top it would be great to win a national but think I would need to be a wee bit more fortunate to do that
