is that going over the shap mick and into lancaster hills at side of lake dist ??? was always dodgy racing from lancaster etc for us with percie :emoticon-0156-rain::emoticon-0156-rain:

Spot on its the liberating 12miles south of shap at sedburgh it sits on top of hills with great open moorland but they get murdered on release and once chased down through the valley wont face coming back ,as for leyland - lancaster don't seem to get a good enough run at fells in front of them ,if they hold a west line from leyland they are on the wrong side of the hills and into maryport workington area and they don't seem to be able to get out of the mountains that surround them ,fantastic racing from lymm must hold a different line ,we intended missing out sedburgh area after 2 appleby's and jump them straight to lymm but vote went east ,perhaps next season .

IT WILL BE REALLY INTERESTING TO SEE HOW YOUZ GO DOWN THE WEST BUT THEN AGAIN YOUR DOOS SHOULD CROSS OVER TO THE EAST AND NOT COME STRAIGHT DOWN BANDIT COUNTRY LIKE OURS WOULD :cry-blow: :cry-blow: :cry-blow: :cry-blow: :cry-blow: :cry-blow: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

midlothian going to try west route with youngbirds hope all goes well then we might see a turn around with other feds

It cant be any worse than going down the east,Good luck

the thing that has to be remembered is that when the lanarkshire went back down the west a few years ago,we changed it back to the east before the young bird racing.it was only because some of the BIG BOYS IN THE LANARKSHIRE,lost some old birds.not taken into account that the birds that were lost had not been down the west before, marlborough proves this to be true,if we are going to go down the west at any point in the future then we have to start at the young bird racing, and teach them the west route, you would have good racing with your yearlings the following year, but you would probably lose a few old birds that had not seen a west route

the prob at Marlborough was nowt to do with location! Strong east did for us! I had birds there that had been doon the west and they didny make it?

I can remember when we first moved from west to east we lost a lot of good old birds as these birds were not familiar with the east route that is why we are trying with young birds if everything goes well then we will have birds on transporter next year that are familiar with that route

but I think irrespective if its successful or not it will probably at the agm get changed back as people will be losing there overfly
