S/Lanrks. were down to go to peterborough last Sat. but i was told by a fed delegate we could not go their because it was not a RPRA site therefore we would not be insured and it was changed to Leicester.

The dates that the South fed and Glasgow had scheduled for Peterborough were not available due to other events taken place on the site on the given dates.

Some weekends there are big exhibitions on but even then there is very little chance that a lib could not take place for the lack of liberating space, its massive, have included a photo of the site and the yellow line marks were the libs take place.

I booked the sites for Glasgow and South Lanarkshire as transport organiser for the Caledonian Combine.Glasgow and South Lanarkshire are both members of the Caledonian Combine, I have a letter from the RPRA telling me that Peterborough was not available on the dates we required due to a prior booking. In that event the RPRA insurance would not cover us. Other federations not members of the RPRA may well have acted and done as they thought fit. Being responsible We followed procedure as laid down by our ruling body THE RPRA. There seems to be constant rumour regarding the transport used by glasgow and south lanarkshire and the possibility that the same transport is the cause of pigeons being slow to return or not returning at all. Both these rumours have been fueled by Rebus. It was Jock Alston who instigated and arranged the purchase of the geraldy transporter on behalf of South Lanarkshire fed. This would imply to me that any deficiencies in the South Lanarkshire are a result of the action being implementd by the main mover on the purchase. I.E Jock Alston. I am led to believe Rebus is the handle for Jock Alston on this site. If this is the case please try and get your facts right instead of blundering into a situation trying to cause discomfort to organisations who have acted solely on behalf of their members. First of all i was not the instigator of the decision for South Lanarkshire to purchase the Geraldy transporter that was entirely the decision of the members and i made no recomendations to the members, and yes i question why the velocity's in our Fed are as much as 200 ypm slower than neigbouring Feds but at no time did i say it due to the transporter so you get your facts right.
