Realism is if he was within sound of my kids I'd gave him a few slaps - no twos ways about that. Just who and what does the slimeball think IT is?! He brings discussing verbal into my house, unannounced and certainly uncalled for whether I want it or not. Is bad enough seeing them on the pitch doing it, LET alone going up to and into the camera. I'd banged his teeth out and made him swallow a bar of soap the disgust cretin!

I well remember a 'Loft Manager’ fetching a stray of my dad. Gave dad the money of 35p - the going rate, and asked where the dustbin was and before one could fart he'd necked it! My dad got him by the throat and explained rather decisively that he would not kill a bird in front his kids and certainly didn't condone anyone else doing it! I doubt if he could talk for a few weeks, and the swelling stayed a while I bet. Rooney is just a spoilt brat that believes ... and maybe it is so, that he is above the law and anyone else's 'Rights'. My right is not to have the foul mouth git ff'ing and blinding out my television set and my right would have slapped him! It should have had a Warning sign put up and played first on match of the day! the stating of 'uncouth verbal spitting out from obscene brain dead cretin'. Great that he is one heck of a footballer... that is what he gets paid for, not spouting out verbal diarerea to the kids. A poor role model indeed to say the least. So what if he plays for Man U. Cowardly elbowing a player behind his back! Some scum him.

Its about time " *expletive removed* " was introduced to the English language it is used so much and by so Many.

Anyone tuning into a live football match cannot SERIOUSLY expect NOT to See players swearing at their opponents and more often than not the Ref, the fact Rooney said it into a camera is neither here nor there in law, so every player who is SEEN or Heard swearing during a game is onto a ban and Fergie will be on the case already, though the players should strike over this because they will all fall foul to this precedent.

The Press will have a field day with it too because they think they run the Country never mind football.

& All this about footballers being Role Models and responsible for how kids behave is ridiculous, if i thought my boy was more influenced by someone he see's once or twice a week than he was by me, his father, i would put him up for adoption because i would clearly be failing as a father. This is just another cop out by people who canny run their own house and blame every/anyone but themselves.

I understand that a lot of these top players are in a farily privelaged position-they are getting paid thousands upon thousands for which most consider a hobby.

 

I feel the press and public 1)care far too much and 2)are too hard on them.

 

Got to understand a lot of these guys have came from nowhere and are now on millions a year.Many of them have a lot of free time.Its understandable why many of them turn alcohol,drugs and sex Folk in all walks of life and wage brackets do so,difference being they are not under public scrutiny-but likliehood is these are the ones who play a bigger role in the children of our countries behaviour than Wayne Rooney.

 

There are people who misbehave in all professions just as there a re people who don't.

Not all,in fact a very small percentage of football fans are thugs.

 

As for the misadventure of these pros off the field.You'll find as bad in any town in the country from yer ordinary Joes.

 

Its alright people frowning upon it but give them a few million in the bank access to VIP areas,drink,drugs,women throwing themselves at them,guns etc and see if they're still the same person after it.

Any you guys Remember the likes of Bobby Charlton feeling the need to do this,or Jim Baxter when he took the Pi## at Wembley,No course not, he was enjoying it far to much .Some off these young guys have there brains in there feet.Most of this, as discussed, comes from there upbringing.In Mr Terry's case this is certainly true.An example to all who carries Englands hopes, and expectations, is Mr Terry.Right or wrong people will have there say on such matters.England wonder why they don't do well as, they should do.This man simply gives to many goals away.Thats both on the park and off it, in life,Loser most certainly springs to mind.

Ryan Giggs gets a lot of money as well, why is he not a loser.Trouble there for these young men, and some find it easy to find.young people are influenced alright,whether we as parents like it or not.There is a way to conduct yourself in all tyhat we do.
