I'm sure this game will be remembered for more than the final score. In tribute to the Ibrox Disaster of Jan 2 1971 when 66 died and over 100 were injured in a crush on stairway 13, the (then) team captains will lead their respective sides out onto the pitch, and a minutes silence observed before the match begins.

Yes very true, it was a sad day, when folks left home to watch their team, and did not return. I hope both sets of fans respect the minutes silence, in memory of those who lost their lives that day/

Certainly do not think it is a laughing matter, football is simply a game, lives are precious, regardless who we follow/support. JMO

Following the damage at Ibrox from the recent thaw and burst pipes which caused the postponement of an SPL match the plumbers trying to repair the pipes combined with electricians doing some re-wiring then found asbestos in the old building which quite obviously would offer a real health hazard to both supporters and players on Sunday but after todays visit the game gets the go ahead. Lets all hope the stadium is safe to visit for all concerned.
