LOTS 1-5... Bidding will close Sunday 19th December 2010 at 9.00pm

1. Stuart Wilcox has kindly offered a summer bred 2011 young bird, which be either from a distance or a sprint family from the very best that he can offer.

Lucky buyer can choose from the distance families housed which are Moleveld / Denney / Hebberecht pigeons.

 

OR

 

A young bird bred from Stuart's sprint families which consist of either Zwols / Koopman / Arien Verreckt pigeons.

 

Most forum members will know that Stuart only keeps the aboslute best of pigeons, that is evident from the donations that he has made recently to

pigeon forums, the interest they have created and money raised... one not to be missed!

 

 

2. Eadie & Kelly, Wishaw... Andy writes 'the 2011 young bird will be bred from our M&D.Evans, Myrtle Lofts Gaby Vandenabeeles which have assisted

Eadie & Kelly become Lanarkshire Federation Champion winners over the last three seasons with up to 7000 birds competing weekly over 18 races.

We have compared this family against others that i have introduced for federation racing and they are a league above the rest!'... there we have it lads

a young bird gifted by one of the top lofts in Scotland competing in the biggest Scottish Federation.

 

 

3. Dave Nicoll, Longforgan... a 2011 young bird gifted by one of our own Federation members, Dave has flown a consistent pigeon for a numbers of years

at all distances, in recent years these results have been surpassed by his more recent family of 'Famous Mealy's', these pigeons have won 1st Federation from

43 - 542 miles, some recent results are 1st Federation, 6th Section, 47th Open SNFC Falaise 2009; this hen brother was 1st Federation, 1st Section, 8th Open SNFC Clermont 2010, this same cock was 13th Section, 35th Open SNFC Eastbourne. Dave also won 23rd Section, 50th Open SNFC Eastbourne and form the SNFC Young Bird National 3rd Section, 11th Open; 34th Section, 100th Open... a youngster thats comes highly recomended!

 

 

4. Maskame & Mackie, Peterhead... a 2011 young bird from one of Scotland's top extreme distance lofts. Stuart has very kindly donated a g/child of there 2010 SNFC

Silver Award Winner 'Maverick', this cock also won the Joe Murphy Sporting Challenge in 2009 for being the winning pigeon in the competition from the SNFC Gold Cup race Alencon flying 632 miles. Maverick positions are 4th Section, 204th Open SNFC Eastbourne (475 miles) 2007; 12th Section, 60th Open SNFC Alencon (632 miles) 2008; 2nd Section SNFC Alencon (632 miles) 2009; 8th SNFC Section Reims (620 miles) 2010... the sire of this young bird will be paired to either a full daughter of Maverick (making YB a double g/child) or a full daughter of Ritchie & Whyte's 'Champion Margaret' 1st section, 5th Open SNFC Lille etc. plus a dynasty of long distance champion pigeons.

 

 

5. Kevin Murphy, Arbroath... a 2011 young bird from an up and coming distance fanatic, with the help of dad Joe Murphy this loft has went from strength to stength

since moving to Arbroath. 2010 being another exceptional season for Kevin with the highlight surely being winning a SNFC Silver Award with there Champion

racer 'Rocket', this exceptional pigeon as a yearling in 2009 won 48th Section, 305th Open SNFC Newbury; 422nd Open SNFC Eastbourne; 94th Open SNFC Ypres;

12 Section, 59th Open SNFC Falaise, then as two year old... 15th Section, 106th Open SNFC Ypres; 36th Section, 108th Open SNFC Clermont, six SNFC positions from seven races! At club level Kevin won Combined Ave., Old Bird Ave., Young Bird Ave. etc...

6. Karen Newcombe, Macmerry... another exceptional youngster to start the second draft from another ace Scottish loft! Karen needs no

introduction and is a name always to watched for in the hotbed Pentland Federation. From there mid week racing which attracts the best from all lofts

she finshed 2nd Open Harlow Yearling race and 2nd & 7th Harlow Young bird race 310 miles, winning some serious cash! At SNFC level her team of pigeons won

5th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 21st Section, 6th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 42nd, 55th Open Bovingdon 307 miles; then from Eastbourne 3rd, 9th, 14th, 24th, 34th Section,

3rd, 11th, 18th, 43rd, 63rd Open 382 miles. From Ypres a distance of 426 miles 16th Section, 34th Open then 5th section, 8th open Young Bird National Leicester,

in all a superb season with cash winnings totalling £9792.

 

 

7. Bamling & Earl, Co.Durham... Jimmy has promised something special bred from there stock loft, where some of the very best sprint families are housed.

This loft has been highest prize winner this year in the Coxhoe H.S. with 8x1st, 14x2nd, winning Old Bird Average; Old Bird Inland Average; Combine Average;

Most Points 93 (beating next loft by 46 points), a previous winner of 3x1st Durham Combine, most recent being in 2009 from Folkestone National 272 miles.

A lot of fanciers owe there success to Jimmy and his partner flying pigeons bred by them.

 

 

8. William Hay, Methil, Fife... a 2011 young bird from William's record breaking team of Andre Clemen pigeons, once again i dont know of anyone who has

had these Andre Clemen pigeons not win with them. William loves young bird racing and to date has won 6 SHU prestigous awards for champion young birds.

In 2008 the ultimate was achieved when the loft won 1st Open SNFC Young Bird National from Leicester, the first loft in the whole of Scotland to win this

National race north of the River Forth... overall team performance that day was 1st, 3rd, 30th, 31st, 32nd Section, 1st, 4th, 30th, 48th, 52nd, 113rd, 196th, 198th, 201st, 203rd Open from 2064 birds, winning SHU Awards... Celtic Cup (champion performance up to 300 miles), Unikon Cup (outstanding performance), Chris Catterall Trophy

(performance champion whole of scotland).

 

 

9. Davie Baldie & Son, St.Andrews... another 2011 young bird from one of the most consistent lofts in the Fife Federation.

This partnership consistently win at Club & Fed level, and fly a consistent pigeon at national level. Some of there best recent results have been 79th section, 294th Open Newbury; 10th, 18th, 21st, 24th Section, 13th, 27th, 31st, 36th, 71st, 90th, 124th, 127th, 135th, 140th open SNFC YB National 2008; 13th, 18th, 24th, 27th, 38th, 63rd

Section, 88th, 104th, 123rd, 134th, 160th, 220th Open SNFC YB National 2009, 55th Section, 141st, 216th Open SNFC YB National.

 

 

10. Colin Crowe, Ratho... Colin has promised us a young bird from his fast flying team of Gaby Vandenabeele pigeons which orginate from the likes of M&D.Evans (Myrtle Lofts), D&J.Hawkins and G.Warman. 2010 has been a great year for the loft winning 6x1st, 5x2nd Club and 4x1st, 3x2nd Federation etc. In 2007 this loft won the SHU Centenary Medal flying with the Scottish Central Federation when there pigeon 'Centenary Topper' won 1st Club, 1st Federation and from a joint liberation of over

2500 birds was a clear winner!

11. Stuart Wilcox... another summer bred 2011 young bird kindly gifted by Stuart, so if you were out bid on the first one of Stuart's youngsters

then here is your chance to bid on the second one.

12. E.& R.Jamieson & J.Hardie, Galashiels... another top drawer 2011 young bird from what must be rated as the most consistent loft in Scotland this year.

Racing with the Scottish National Flying Club this loft scored 67th, 86th, 88th Section, 267th, 367th, 372nd Open Bovingdon; 22nd, 72nd, 79th section, 40th, 154th, 175th, 317th, 373rd, 383rd Open Eastbourne; 20th Section, 57th Open Reims; 23rd Section, 53rd, 143rd, 163rd Open Ypres; 4th Section, 16th Open Bourges;

69th Open Clermont... for these acheivements they were justly awarded the Joe Murphy Fancier of the Year Award, which is the best co-efficient for all the four SNFC channel races, they were actually the only loft in Scotland to feature on all SNFC old bird race results.

 

 

13. Douglas Bald, Balerno... a 2011 youngster from Dougie who is best known for his superb service as Scotlands Unikon agent,

which will be bred from the best he can offer, Dougie has recently introduced some of the William Hay Andre Clemen pigeons with instant improved results,

2010 being no exception winning the Almond Valley Federation three weeks in succession .

 

 

14. J.Coutts & Son, Kintore... another youngster from a northerly positioned Scottish loft flying some extreme distances over rough terrain.

Jim is offering a youngster from either his distance stock or from his team of Gaby Vandenabeele which have helped him win 6x1st club this season, best Federation race being Ripon when the loft won 1st, 2nd, 3rd Fed, from SNFC they were 2nd Section, 330rd Open Newbury 2009, and 4th Section, 240th Open Bovingdon 2010.

From this years SNFC YB National jim sent three entires, winning 5th Section, 18th, 180th, 194th Open.

 

 

15. Andy Miller, Edinburgh... what a season this fancier has had and has kindly donated a 2011 youngster bred from the best.

Andy has won flying with the SNFC a staggering 27 diplomas, his best open positions have been 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th, 30th, 47th, 57th (twice), etc etc.

In the strong Pentland Federation the loft won the coveted Combined Average Award, Best Average 4 Longest OB Races, Best Average Longest

OB & YB Races.

 

16.the youngster will either be from a direct son of Eddie Wright's MR.GALLANT x Machiel Buijk hen (Martha Van Geel)

 

OR...

 

from a direct Gilmour Bros pigeon which is steeped in Jock Traill, Pete Patrick, Eric Fox blood paired to an Eric Fox pigeon.
