Does The Snfc Need New Transportation ?

The question is still, does the SNFC need its own transporter?

With the current race program we are using 3 transporters for the inland races, if we bought a new transporter there would be an argument about who's birds are on it and who's arent?

If we got a large one it woudnt be practical for the channel races so there lies another issue with buying a new transporter.

one thing is for sure every year the balance is going down and transporters are getting more expensive I think this is what is driving the issue before the money is gone.

What about a second hand one?

Do you think that the SNFC need to change the transporters that have been used for the last few years? Initially, I thought they did need to change them but Im not too sure now <_<

look at what others have done

saying no more

Limit the Birdage in the inland Nationals and go for 2000 Bird Geraldy (or hire from Almond Valley). What would the cost be to purchase such a unit.

get one made for £45,00 and a flat bed truck for £25,000 you could have it made that the hi-ab truck lifts it of. and on, then you would only need to hire the hi-ab 8 times in the year. and no maintenance

Limit the inland (club )races and we would increase the birdage in the Channel Races. Its the same areas that can send 20/30 birds to these races.

here here i would second this limit the inland races and that would hopefuly increas the birdage for the channel races B)B)

remember if you limit birds there is an alternative inland national and it would not increase the channel birdage to any great extent so all you would be doing is cutting your income and lining the pockets of the alternative organisation

listen youll no need tae limit any birdage yearlings are not getting to the older stage

there will be plenty of room for the older birds

the problem is the education and race proggame we set the yb,s

the way things are going yearlings will be sent more often to the 500 mie races because no one has many older thanthat in there lofts

Ye thats right not as many 2yr olds knocking aboot. Think we should leave the two inland nats alone as they make some cash but look at cuttin a channel race.

old birds with track record will always make the result rab

but how many good yearlings are lost cause you had nothing elese to send after 4,yrs of trying to get them buy that stage

never mind the channel how many make the inland races now

youll see more yearlings making the nat results in yhe future

people will start to jump to the distance rather than loose them inland J.M.O

but dont want the lanarkshire to make money at your expence, its all coming out now is it not think the lanarkshire has now seen, the tail wag the dog,

i just think the basket hire, and hall hire, have just doubled to recoup loses for the lanarkshire fed

Could be said that there are not that many 2 year olds about for the channel because they have been lost in the Inland Nationals the year before.
