harry h Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Sorry to hear of the losses that a lot on the site had yesterday, just back from 2weeks holiday first time during race season that I've went on holiday, came back to good news the friend I left to look after the bird done very well, sent 19 hens last week 19 home 1st 2nd 3rd 4th club.Sent 29 this week 29 home 1st 2nd 3rd club,so I think I might go on holiday for the rest of the Y/B season.
Guest IB Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 It's good the young birds are working back even if the numbers are disappointingly low. I've still got yesterday's 8/9, it's now late afternoon and she still hasn't shown.

Guest bigda Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 heavy rain on route from consett must have put75 % of the birds down, as there where far to manymaking there way back from the race late, as for the remainder of late birds, i think they have flew them self done. and the only way they Will return is they are in peoples lofts, other feds got away with it i think the damage was done about 11- 12 O'Clock yesterday, the forcast i had was for showers at 12 on at consett and the wind changing to a light west reports are saying there was heavy rain in the area at hexham
Ian McKay Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Are all these controllers getting it wrong or is it a case of when one goes the pressure is on them to let them go I would love to speak with the Angus controller who had the ba--s to hold over when all round liberated and ask him / her why Good on you mate hope today was a good one Ian

Delboy Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 I got a Carluke bird come in with my batch from Otterburn today. It was a ch pd hen SU10L1610, I think. I tossed it at Cumbernauld and it headed south on the right direction,so I believe it knew where it was going. Hope it made home
