Delboy Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Hi TomBelieve its about 660 miles, will you be sending yourself Tom Aye and your flying short
kelly tom Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 GarethOur Bourges race was flown on the 18th June,it was won by a great bird flying 587 miles to Mr and Mrs Crosby .It was a real hard race woth one Fed having no birds back in race time. The birdage was 2011.I never sent as we had a real stinker from Clermont with many birds missing.
kelly tom Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 GarethI was round at our Secys this morning, the Durham Combine were at Clermont yesterday 380 miles to me,he had 50 yearlings away and had only 10 back at 12-00 today.

Blue Tooner Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 sending 2 three year old hens, 740 miles to me, a nice short race
slim45 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 what was the last race your birds had in prep for bourges i was planning on sending an 06 pigeon last race bovingdon came next morning hawked 3 flights missing left him for a fortnight flight have way up and have been giving him the last week 3 40 milers the flight ar just about there do you think bovingdon is enough time on wing for bourges or settle for clarmont when he will be chipping on basketing
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Nothing wrong with Bovingdon being the pigeons last race, 5 weeks is a good rest for a doo going to fly 670+ miles and it should have built up a good supply of reserves that it may require. Best of luck what ever you decide to do, c u Tuesday Some of my own entries had Bovingdon with the comeback Consett on the 26th of June but this is only 103 miles.
andy Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Sending 2, a 4y-old hen just hatched and a 3y-old cock been on widowhood all season sitting 9 days at baskettingThis is the race where all the national averages are won!!! <_<
midnight_son Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I'm sending 2 with my main hope being my 8th open Andrezel hen. The other one is not in her league in my opinion so it's pretty much all on the 8th open hen. Her babies should hatch tomorrow and her last race was Bovingdon but has had plenty training since then. Hope the race is well supported. I think my dad has 5 or 6 for it.
dal2 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I think maybe two but no sure. Its a bloody lang wae frae Bourges tae us here in the Deep South.
