It would be great Jamie for the west to win 1st open for the first time in 30 years but with southern winds forecast on the east coast for the last 150 miles cant not see this happening.

If everything is as straight forward as the forecast is predicting then the birds should be in around the 19.30 - 20.00 into Edinburgh area and hopefully shortly followed by the doos into the west, but as past experiences have shown us nothing ever is straight forward when it comes to 550 miles.

My mate who flys in Ramsgate spotted a batch of 30 birds coming right off the sea heading north at 11:15. Reims birds??????? This gives a speed of 40mph
