JADE Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 lot of brave guys out there. the strength of the wind here it would be bordering on cruelty to let pigeons up to fly 400 miles and as i said in a previous post the wind on the coast is usually worse. wait and see how the feds who are racing today get on before moaning

JohnQuinn Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 You can be sure the decision to hold over was not taken lightly, and Jim always has the birds in mind when making decisions. He has to consider the majority if the convoy no just the winners, by that i mean, while the winners would get up the road in decent time, it does the sport, in general, no good liberating doos in conditions where only a minority of the convoy can hope to be in their own lofts on the day of Lib, jmo.
JADE Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 because they will probably be proved correct. you lot would be the first to moan if they had gone up and it was a disaster
