Old Bird Losses So Far

Well into the season now, and on a Saturday and Sunday I read about members having experienced losses.

Have so far lost 6 - including one from Saturday's channel race

 

Losses for me, atleast, have not been significant

havn't lost any racing. around home 2 'dissapeared' ...possibly hawk, 1 definite hawk and 2 stock cocks dropped down dead at weekend

started with 22 got 21 dropped 1 at first race and none since touch wood

started season with 21 dropped 3. 2 of them on saturday from eastbourne

STARTED WITH 56 LOST 15 TO HAWKS 3 TRAINING 6 RACING 32 LEFT

6 races lost 8 pigeons got 30. LOst my best yin at the weekend bit doon will have tae find another candidate.

started with 28 got 15 left, cant hold on to them up here in cumbria

started season with 22 yearlings that were not raced as youngsters.lost 8 so far from various racepoints.have stopped most of them now for next year.got 14 yearlings left,a tough year.

Started with 28 widowhood cocks, 19 of those were yearlings. Got 5 older ones left and 8 yearlings. All of those yearlings were trained up and raced as babies last year.

lost 11 racing and 6 training and three around the loft before training or racing started and one bird to illness

WELL AFTER MY ETS CLOCK WAS CLEANED OUT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON I HAD 32 DOOS LEFT IN IT AND OF THOSE 32 THERE ARE 17 LEFT BUT SOME HUVNAE RACED YET AND THE BULK OF THEM ARE OLDER DOOS NOT SURE HOW MANY I HAVE LOST RACING BUT I THINK IT'S 11 AND THE OTHERS WERE LOST TRAINING
