Well folks, we should be considering our team of birds for this coming weekends races, so how many are you sending?

 

Where are you racing form?

Considered which birds I would be sending for this coming weekend - last weekend as we had a race on Monday, so not sending that many - just a dozen or so as it's likely to be a holdover for us

 

Folkestone - 260 miles

Probably only send a few hens as I cannot afford to have any more cocks thrown away in North Easterly winds. I will keep them for the later races.

We are racing from Consett and the wind forecast is about 20mph North Easterly and will remain in this direction but drop slightly towards the home end.

no he will be gutted, but he knows they have to go, They have been trained hard most of the winter, in snow and north east winds, and out of the 15 cocks he had these are the 7 he has left, so im hopeful :lol:

we are sending the same 18 yearlings ,same as last week and it is from Poole which is about 185 miles to us,and good luck to you as well mate

26 gan wae solway fed tae stafford 160ish. Six late comers and sick list frae last week restin at hame. Will be a stiff test if forecast out tae gan by.

20 on 24 in loft folkestone 292miles bad forecast for weekend wda away tonight up north taking a vote on when they basket dont make any sense.

9 cocks and 12 hens are going to Witton Castle 116 miles to me. Cold wind or not, they need to get through the rough wi the smooth :)

we are marking saturday for sunday race , so somthings not right on saturday , this north staffs also staffordshire moorlands .

i wont be sending any of my national entries , lily livered i know , but its not worth risking them at this point
