me Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 a sensible decision the birds would been cut to bits by that wind.

johno Posted June 26, 2007 Author Report Posted June 26, 2007 liberatated 11.30 nnw winds. will be a hard slog and take a good bit of flying. good luck to all who are taking part. weather playing a major part.
rembrant2coo Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 SNRPC REIMS BIRDS LIBERATED AT 11.35 a.m. IN A NORTH WEST WIND ON THE LIB LINE AT 12.02 R/2COO .
Mike Lycett Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 How far are you lads flying ? Will there by day birds???
kaybee Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 548 miles to me Mike. Very strong northerly winds all the way today but I'd expect a few to be in before 11am wednesday and I wouldnt rule out the odd exception of one or two going through the night. All the best to those who sent
johno Posted June 26, 2007 Author Report Posted June 26, 2007 i think all in the race are flying 500+ miles. this with the limited daylight is likely to mean no day birds. decent returns is what is needed. the wind will make this a real tester. looks like the rain is not going to be as continual as it has been. everyone wo has sent is still the potential winner. good luck.
jimmy white Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 good luck to all who have entered ,, a difficult race with the wind ,,,lets just hope for a good race and good returns
