My in laws are in Duntocher which will hopefully make getting the birds down the road a wee bit easier on the odd occasion.
hotrod Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 i think im in a bad bit mate but your birds are going to have a rough last 20/30miles? i dont know what your mesurements would be up in oban, i know from me to you driving would take 3hrs.AND dont you mean outlaws ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
ally mac Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Its about 60 mile to the Erskine bridge frm me as the pigeon flies, probably a difficult 60 mile at that. If the roads are quiet its under 1.5 hours by car. I got my YBs coming back from Glasgow last year, started with about 40 and finished with 25 or so. To be honest I know I made a few mistakes along the way so would hope to increase the odds next year. The ones I still have had a few difficult fies (albeit just 60 mile) so I am keen to see how they do this year.
Guest Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 to beat hotrod at riems and to compete at distance again after 2 years lost moving house its good to have a distance team back again
