ALF Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I think it should be remembered that 1st and foremost this is the Lanarkshire fed programme and now you cant enter all the FED races unless you are a member of the SNFC : ps...i am a member of the SNFC but what about all the older members in my club ( as an example ) that cant afford to or dont want to join the SNFC???
JADE Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 how can you possibly include a race in fed averages that isnt open to all fed members. looks like a visit to the shu appeal court for someone
b.massey Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Never seen a fed race not open to fed members before!!. Should just be a no race week and SNFC members can send to it if they like??
dkj Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 well done lanarkhire fed putting 3 nat races in ur fed programme hope more feds do the same forward thinking all the best for 2009
alec guinness Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 homer 49 & alf maybe a wee bit thick, newbury 6th june not sure how this works????
frank-123 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 that's got to be overturned newbury must be a duplication race as well or how can it count for fed averages you agree something at the agm i thought it was duplication in both inland races i am a member of the snfc as well but lanarkshire should not be going to newbury if we cant duplicate into the snfc
Guest bigda Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 well all i can say here is, i hope the fed gets divided next year, as this fed is going to demand 2-3 new transporters to go it alone, the sprint fanciers are getting taken for mugs here, and if i have anything to do with it, I will be exposing this at every opportunity lanarkshire national fed don't think the sprint fanciers are getting represented from with in :( i and the sprint fanciers ,will be in the new transporters, first and for most

It would be really interesting to see who proposed barring the fed members from competing in a fed race unless they join an outside club?? And i have to say i'm really disappointed in the delegates for voting against the members of the fed :-/ : : : :
Guest bigda Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 9 races out of 12 old bird races for sprint races and 6 y/b sprint races i think thats good 15 races out of 18 how much more do u want i join the national, support them yourselves, don't hang on to the lanarkshire like limpets, leech of the national and leave the lanarkshire fed to the ones who are funding its every existence most weeks, you all want distance at every other one expense there is a union for it join it and stop holding our fed back from making progress if we rid 200 members fine the lanarkshire will survive, as do lesser feds manage if you had any concision's at all, that's the route you should all be thinking of going, for the betterment of both unions 8)

HOMER49 Posted January 27, 2009 Author Report Posted January 27, 2009 Hi I will check with Ian Henderson in the morning and post what he says Cheers Homer 49
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I think you have picked someone up incorrectly Homer, the phrase it's not a duplication means that Newbury will not be a fed pool race but will have a result like a normal Kelso race etc. In other words those who want to enter in federation without going with the SNFC can do so by using one of the SNFC marking stations and for those who want to be on the SNFC and fed result can do so by duplicating from the SNFC back into the Federation.
Guest WINGS 04 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Hi I will check with Ian Henderson in the morning and post what he says Cheers Homer 49 why don't you ask the fed president you put him up for the post what i was told is it is not a open race
Guest bigda Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 why don't you ask the fed president you put him up for the post what i was told is it is not a open race who said that :X ??) :X ;D :X :D ;) :o what fed :
hotrod Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 can't be right you can't force a member to join another club to fly for averages ,somebody must have picked it up wrongly
b.massey Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Yeah I agree with hotrod. Think its miss communication along the lines somewhere
Guest IB Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Think there's been a misunderstanding. NW Fed included Newbury in its 2008 race program as a Fed race, open to all Fed members, and counting towards Fed averages; but it was not a Fed Open race: Our Fed Open races were Newark and Eastbourne. SNFC Newbury 2009 race is open to Federations for Joint Convoying. No need to be a SNFC member, but you do have the option to join for that race only.
frank-123 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 seems like homer49 might have been on the drink or his mind has went ;D
HOMER49 Posted January 28, 2009 Author Report Posted January 28, 2009 Hi My sincere apologies to all who have read this post Newbury race on the 6th of June will be treated as a club race for the members of Lanarkshire Fed who are NOT members of the SNFC Cheers Homer 49
