rembrant2coo Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I Doubt if that would bother them homer, the birds would be over the top of that when coming over there surely , we get the same with the forth, low lying mist right up the forth valley some days and they just seem to go right over the top,, Especially in the YRPES race the birds would be flying quite strong by then and really heading for home , another point they may never have come in by dover and come in further up the country.
frank-123 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 think it must have been hot air from an auld windbag : 100% returns for me from ypres 448 miles sent 5 hope mr rankin holds for low lying fog next year ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Harry Your points are very valid I myself thought the birds would head NW but by Colin Grays report the Belgian fanciers in attendance said they would head for Calais and this is the direction they took according to Colin into a light West Wind Cheers Homer 49
Delboy Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Ask Colin at AGM. I hope he turns up to answer all the questions the members may have for him.
