alex wight Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Honey in the water, then fresh water the next day. its put in first thing in the morning to stabilise in temperature. I always store my water in bottles from the night before, so that its not fresh from the tap, just like when they are on the transporter.

budgie Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 6 Horse beans dipped in Honey with Begasol in the water.Within 2 hrs they could go back again.
jimmy white Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 what do people use in drinkers when they come back from race , in my opinion,, best with clean water,,, they will drink their fill this way, anything added, at the precise time they arrive home,, then they will hesitate in drinking their full needs,, once theve eaten later , many add electrolytes, or glucose, or honey , even milk,, as a pick me up , but in my opinion for short or easy races , plain water,, [tapolene ;D],, if in races that have taken a lot out the bird, maybe try any of these" pick me ups" after their light feed
Guest bakes Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 council pop ;D water if its been an hard race ie warm day they have electrolights in there water fountains all the best.
