I am just in from marking at Uddingston, Ive been up there since 3.30pm , around 760 birds there and the SNFC has 3 full transporters and one with maybe 20 baskets. A big thankyou to all the helpers  tonight, very well done.

spot on slinky ,BUT they have not had one on the nose this year ,so watch out for the non timers there will be plenty(on the night i mean).

good luck to all birds should be away before 8am and winner doing 1080 ypm, jade there is no chance of birds doing 1200 in a n/west wind . unless your flying north road of course ,ps were at maidstone this weekend with the caladonian combine ,

It was a North East wind at Newbury Stuart mate. But I agree there will be some birds facing it for first time but Newbury birds had North East two weeks ago  :)

brian it was only n/e for a bit, easterly most of way ,but n/west winds there is no hiding place, just good honest pigeons win in this wind mate.

it was jock alston that told me years ago that any wind with east in it is a dry wind and most birds will dehidrate quickly but west winds have more moisture in it and therefor better for the birds  good luck hope you get a cracker.
