Guest stb- Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 The point is most of the time it is a prevailing south/ west wind most of the time and if that is the case then the dooman in the east and south are in for a easy race so you's east boys have the ba11s to say that this is the case. Hal i know an east wind can benefit us in the west but to be honest i hate them and most birds do aswell

Guest Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 davy the newbury national is 260 to some 435 to me . well your looking at 175 miles and your not the furthest robbie at roughly 40 mph on a good day your looking at least over 4 hours more on the wing the birds slowing all the time with fatigue look at the amount of open positions attained by all the sections compared to birds sent and you will get your answer to which sections are easier/harder
Chris Little Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Enjoying this thread watching a bit of bragging going on. Some great fliers in the North Section but why do some think they have the best long distance birds in Scotland ?? just curious
