Guest bigda Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 i will go by you bigda get on the blower all west sec to agm aff the floor [ brest ] ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D up esp every boady happy ??????????????????????????????? perfect line for all, down to the wind on the day when they cross the channel and what side they prefer to come and as its only 30 mile wide at the sol way west to east again the wind will decide it again at that point ;D may be the birds will come again up through the nith along the railway line as they done in days gone by as did the Glasgow feds used to fly over the lanarkshire area. Pembroke would also be a good race point to steady the Nat birds up

walterbmasson Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 hotrod you can put me bottom of list but that wont stop me trying to get everything on level footing and yes i am not changing my mind of inland nationals its an in justice nearly 500milers having to compete against fanciers not flying 300 miles hotrod [ different doos is that not mickey mouse if you dont agree with that sorry i would put you bottom rung of the ladder i have already posted before i wouldnt send another doo to inland race does not give the longer birds justice better sending them to fed at least they get reconised for there effort ][ but this is my opinion ]

No matter where you race.. you'll all fly the furthest.. the south will always fly the shortest.. the east will always be the easiet and the west will always be the hardest..

We can all talk about B.O.P.'s, wind direction, how good West/East birds are, what line they take not to mention the little bit of luck they need as well. As you say it's a physical impossibility for everything to be even. Best thing to do is enjoy the racing, do the best you can for them, set them up to the best of your ability, pay yer money n get them in there n start prayin, hopefuly ye'll get yer reward if no there's always next time

Guest uphallhen Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 glad you have finaly taken notice of the distance we have to fly up here as they say its the time on the wing . The point is most of the time it is a prevailing south/ west wind most of the time and if that is the case then the dooman in the east and south are in for a easy race so you's east boys have the ba11s to say that this is the case.
