cemetary Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 i think this year, the race should be from penzance, just to give every national member a chance . west this year center, the next then east, the following year. to refuse this would admit, there where advantages for certain areas , simple proposal. west this year for inland races. if it not to happen well i would think there are advantages that they don't want to give up, no matter bigda will expose, the Pilgrims that are not very charitable :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You train your birds to fly the easy east route so that's the way they'll head for home :-/
Guest bigda Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 i have been getting loads of PMS, for the penzance race, and all the over the water ones, but there main concern, is the committee will not listen to a 4-30 lib, i say if they get the wee generator they can water the birds at 3.30 4.0 O'Clock and at the distance no later libs than 05.30 but would be OK at a lib at 1pm if the weather clears sounds a fair request back to the of the line of flight so its OK with a west wind of 15mile a hour as long as it the east your are coming from think ill Will be looking into and naming the selfish, Pilgrims in the nationa :ol

You train your birds to fly the easy east route so that's the way they'll head for home :-/ glad you are of the same opinion with a west lib, it is down to the bird now, if i have heared about the one eyed jacks once, i have hear a thousand times, if this is the case the one eyed jacks will be on line for home at the annan area, but the difference this time would be they have to work to get there and thats the problem but they are saying it is OK for others to face a west wind head on, so only on that i think fairness says west libs to compensate for predominant west wind that time of the year bigda as it is :

WHITTY Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 i you might be wright hot rod ihave raced in snfc since 1958 with over 100 diplomas from 500to 600 miles plus but that was back when there was only3 nationals with 100s of lofts and birds competing know at the longer races very few birds compete except for inland by the way i fly into fife which is hard to get birds to cross the forth at night from france
walterbmasson Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 i agree bigda is the only won that sees that its not smelling roses we would settle for your suggestion as there nas been a lot of posts agreening wit bigda but also a lot want it to stay letting them go 2 hrs and more after permitted time 6.30 am + whaterevergood on you bigda telling it as it is if there should be a inland race make it penzance so members can get there birds a wee bit more of a barrier i have also had a lot of posts regarding this issue every one your right but wasting your time so north boys your own your todd but rember a lot of fanciers are flying 20 to 40 birds to win from 260 miles our clubs last young bird race not mention ybn :o :o :obigda for committee 8) 8) 8)
