Would have to disagree with you Andy as this year we have 4 young bird races over 100 miles, now compare that to the last 6 years were we have only had a grand total of 4 races over 100 miles. Guest bigda
ENTER BIGDA i think there has to be something sorted out with the lanarkshire, a first race with the Nat no duplication and at £21 a basket that cant be right, if the lanarkshire had that race them self at that cost we would have no need to go with the Nat, 200 baskets a £21= £4,200 a profit for our own fed £1000 prize money, £1,200 costs and £2,000 profit we are missing the boat here
Guest bigda
there are guys on here moaning about fed transport costs and some jumping ship a no race for the lanarkshire guys are paying 75p a bird and there are no talk of that, but other clubs trying to get at the lanarkshire fed for some reason, and moaning about 45p per bird flying in safety in numbers, no expense to there club, and at the most they have 300 birds getting racing that they could not make pay them self, giving them, a grand total of £135 for a 100-200 mile race is there any transit van driver out there or trailer willing to go the 100 mile never mind the return journey for £135 for 300 birds i don't think so. they are bed hoping to other feds, and it will be noted, my suggestion to them is give the doos up, as you are only embarrassing you selfs in you actions, begging transport from another fed to save 5 p at most and wait for it £15 which all it equates to 50p a none member
