fid Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 Could someone tell me, are Danderhall no longer members of Pentland ..federation ?? because it looks like s/b members (or maybe just me know bugger all) whats going on!! we have had two y/b races so far we pay our dues so whats going on!! please tell us.
andy Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Could someone tell me, are Danderhall no longer members of Pentland ..federation ?? because it looks like s/b members (or maybe just me know bugger all) whats going on!! we have had two y/b races so far we pay our dues so whats going on!! please tell us.It was a Danderhall club race which they are entitled to do. In the business world it would be known as “sharp practise†to try and get an edge on the federation members who don’t have the facility to emulate. All geared towards hours on the wing for the YBN. Good luck to all 😉
fid Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Andy,I am sure Danderhall did everything they could to ensure their members had a race this week and I applaud them for that. What I am asking is why didn"t Pentland fed have a race?? they cannot blame the weather as 99% of Scottish feds raced on Friday (and by all accounts had great racing). Is there another reason of which we are not entitled to know as we are not Pentland members? we are to small to be told? Looks like we will have to have another 20 Otterburns so as to get time on the wing lol
Henrik Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 I believe the contractor didnt have a driver to take the lorry on Friday, nothing more sinister than that Fid

fid Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Thanks for the explanation Bobby,so it wasnt because of the weather conditions. It would make a lot more sense just to be up front and then we could all accept the explanation and get on with things.
b.massey Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Haulage can’t seem to supply week days

Good luck to all 😉Andy Danderhall club never raced to get an edge on the federation members & the fact about who don't have the facility to emulate that's not danderhall fault. you's have a trailer witch hold about 12 baskets or more & there was other options out there for members. we raced because it looked 99% no racing on sat or sun. and club members wanted a race. we should be on wk6 now Wetherby 155 but we have had 2 otterburns 62 miles that's 3 fed races missed but should only be 1 really cause the first 2 races missed we could have had a race
