Roland Posted January 17, 2021 Report Posted January 17, 2021 Was without one of the best fanciers and person I ever met. I spent time with him and visited him. His knowledge and help were always spot on. I gave him some birds not long before he left us. He was pleased with them etc. I also had 6 pairs of y/b's off Jimmy. Fantastic birds. When I packed up, I took, and gave, 4 pairs to a fancier in Scotland. The others I gave away and sent then to Ireland for a decent fancier there. I, for one, and many more were very much saddened when the final days came. Like many, - in very many walks of life, - he took with him a bundle of knowledge so very far-seeing too. Yes, I have and do miss him still lots—those chats and knowledge he gave me. Yes 'Kiss' - keep it sweet and simple' was his motto. The 'E.M.B'. Too. the stories he told me! They really summed him up a treat! A grand fellow! So much I could tell, relive, but ... Great video Geordie. Very pleased to see it!
