Walter swanston Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 How about some advice.I am soon into my 88th year and no longer able to participate in the training and racing of pigeons because of the customary difficulties associated with old age.Is it fair to others for me to continue my club membership when I cannot contribute asIused to do.

peter dempsey Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 you are made of stronger stuff stay with you club you will be an asset to younger members
DBA421 Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 Walter, for all you have done for the Solway Fed and for the pigeon sport if your members wish to help you do not feel embarrassed about it.
Kyleakin Lofts Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 Walter, your dedication to Solway Federation over the years has been exemplary. I'm sure you have shown the same exemplary conduct within your Club. Your Club and Federation would be so much poorer without your knowledge and experience. The younger members of your Club will be delighted to be able to show their respect to you by offering any assistance they can. Accept it as a reward for a job well done.
andy Burgess Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 they should consider it an honour to help you . good luck for the new season .
