neila Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 One of these corns is £14.80 for 20kg and the other is £10.50 for 20 kg What one would you prefer or what reason can you see for the £4.30 difference
andy Burgess Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 content is the reason for price difference . i used to use the Natural one when back in Wales (guessing thats the one on the right) . now up here in Scotland something a little heavier is needed (only my opinion) .
greenlands Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Don't know if we are fortunate or unfortunate with all these mixes,a lot of years ago and I mean a lot you had no choice, you got a mix and that was it,breeding ,resting and all that was never thought of,if you wanted to lighten it you got some barley from the farm. Then the Belgium boys landed with mixes that worked wonders believe it or not ? You could sen five or six birds to Nantes say 500 + mile and get four on the day and the other the next day, send them now and you might get one on the night and lucky to see another. Think that's right ?
philg50 Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 I think one on left a few more maples, but what is it supposed to be for breeding ,racing, resting or what.
neila Posted February 11, 2019 Author Report Posted February 11, 2019 I prefer the one on the left Hi RyanThe one on the left is Souths feeds the one on the right is VL Souths is by far the cheaper price Like you I would have gone left
Kyleakin Lofts Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Looks like the one on the left has more variation in it. Left for me.

philg50 Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 No maples in eitherIs that beans then i see
Kyleakin Lofts Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Not the best of photos, but I think it is red dari.
paddymac Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Is that beans then i seeI don't think it is Phil, picture too blurred when clicked on but compared in size with the barley and white dari in the picture its too small to be beans.
neila Posted February 11, 2019 Author Report Posted February 11, 2019 Not the best of photos, but I think it is red dari. That's strange really clear on my iPadI will try to upload it better
neila Posted February 12, 2019 Author Report Posted February 12, 2019 Still no better. It's the same way I posted photos before, not sure why it's not worked as it's clear my end

philg50 Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 Not that what the brown seed identification is important, for depurative would barley not be as good a back stop ??far cheaper ,( hope i am not going of topic !! )
Kyleakin Lofts Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 Much better Lindsay. You've switched them round, so the one on the right is my preference. The red dari is a lot clearer.
neila Posted February 12, 2019 Author Report Posted February 12, 2019 Much better Lindsay. You've switched them round, so the one on the right is my preference. The red dari is a lot clearer. Glad Lindsay sorted for me The one on the right is the souths feeds ( the cheaper one ) like you I thought it looked better as well Although I have no knowledge of the cleaning process or grade of of it
