    Breeder Buyer

change the format for next year enter a bird into the breeder buyer and you can keep it at a set fee say £25 but for every bird you enter and pay to keep ,you must also enter one for auction which you can also bid on this way every donator can have something in his/her loft to race for the prize money if you dont want to race your own bird then dont take up the option of buying them back, just let them all be auctioned simple :emoticon-0167-beer:
  5. davy i know in my club , not sure about harrys, they are sometimes struggleing for enough members to form a basketing comittee also said davy that if they didnt have a valid reason which illness, disability , would count as such but to just not turn up every week because they cant be bothered or it interferes with them going to the pub is just not acceptable
  6. all depends if theres enough to basket rab also he/she is dodgeing out on the club work some members would refuse to handle his/her birds and who could blame them unless theres a valid reason for not attending they should be there doing their bit if we all did this who is going to put our birds through :emoticon-0138-thinking:

  12. andy the low battery warning came on my base station at the begining of the year i still managed to use it for the whole season then get the battery changed the following january, the cost was £80 and a further £5 postage ps- its the older style system i have, not the champ
  13. thats a hell of a lot of extra work for the clocksetters racesheets rubbering birds dont think many clubs would let you do that let alone the clocksetters if everyone wanted to do it then you would more than double the time taken marking
  14. having no limit on manual clocks then would put them at an advantage in some instances over an ets system eg- if your ets clock failed thats it your out the race not the same as if your manual clock failed you can have a second or 3rd manual clock or can get another set before the birds return with an ets you dont have that luxuary as you dont have the birds race rubbered with national raceing that changes as you get a second manual set as a backup you also have a rubber along with your ets ring
  15. sorry gary but your wrong m8 it was never even with fanciers useing diff methods of trapping stall trap, sputnick, open door etc etc a stall trap and a t3 clock you can clock in around 3 seconds of a bird going in a sputnick etc etc you took longer because you had to catch the bird first its mostly down to the trapping not the system used motavation wins races not systems
  16. alan correct me if im wrong but in the nationals can you not use 2 clocks for eg if you go to the clockstation with 1 clock to get birds recorded can someone else not clock in any other birds that arrive into a second clock
