with a mobile loft which is going to moved around the field i would doubt that they will get the loft pinpointed so wont get distances and wont get to fly with any organiseation to qualfy for prizes i would think the loft would have to be stationary to get distances or is this not correct????

would be good if there was a list of birds currently in the lofts to see what had returned from the series of races i was surprised when someone on the livestream said that birds which returned late and missed out on a race didnt get to enter the final race wouldnt of thought this was correct?

we used to have the 3 bird rule for i think 2 seasons 3 to the club and all to the fed the problem was when you have pool or nom birds in your club you might have the 1st 5 in the clock but can only count the 1st one as you need your 12th and 16th birds home for pools eg we had a club 2 bird comp going so these 2 birds had to count in your 3 birds or they wouldnt score any points that week

do you think the distances reflect the actual route the birds fly i would think the birds all cross around the same area then travel up the east coast of england or split and go up the west side thats why i said the fairest route is southerly where all sections get a true distance af far as possable races should be measured over land as far as poss as birds wont fly 450 miles over water when they can follow the coastline

good for racing into the west but bad for raceing into the east and north a direct line from ypres to the north section is over water near the whole way i think we get about 20 or so miles from dundee and they are over 60 miles from aberdeen we get 47 miles from edinburgh and they are 100 miles from aberdeen the fairest line for everyone is south

one lads saying 2 birds turned up this morning but dont qualify to be sent to the final because they were not at todays race how many birds are there at the loft that have returned late and dont get to compete in the final 101 birds back still no scottish ones home
