darkness youngsters can be lazy buggers, once they have tidied in the moult get them in the air (i chase them with a brush) and lighten the feed. once flying good and off the darkness i have them out as early as possible in the morning, as this is when we train so it keeps everything the same, feeding etc... keep it simple.

dundee origin, tap o the law! lol...

found grills to be the best... i lead a very busy lifestyle, so under perches and nestboxes dailly, lift floor grills on a sunday and clean floor, light sprinkle harkers loft treatment. birds always look great with nice clean feet.

great work keep it up... dont be put off by some the twats on this forum, cowards that hide behind a computer screen and wouldnt have the 'balls' to to confront you face to face!

can vouch for the pigeons we have had from Paul, club and fed winners 2008... if it wasnt for the problem with pigeon couriers these days i wouldnt hesitate in buying half a dozen!

BUYING E.T.S WITCH ONE PLZ COMMENT
WulDon replied to bombersbullets's topic in Lofts, Fixtures & Fittings
been using unikon since 2006 and no probs to date, just a couple teething probs initially when setting up but this can happen with any system, more down to me than the system. my partner (loft.1) flys in a different club and they use tauris, he is not impressed by it but when it comes free of charge you cant grumble, having had experience with both systems i would chose Unikon any day regardless of cost... you only get what you pay for and Unikon is good value for money and there back up service is superb, Dougie Bald has always helped us at virtually the drop of a hat... evenings or weekends no probs! -
what ever lads just my opinion, thought it would raise a few eye brows! you lot are so predictable ha ha ha... now i'm off to concentrate on my doo's i'll let you lot get on wee yer squabbling... good luck to all in 2009!

Wrong! YPRES was an official SNFC race... just check the website to see the result. Now surely if Saintes wasnt in your programme why is the first Scottish pigeon acclaiming 1st Open and being awarded a medal! Who makes your rules 'Mickey Mouse', oh .*expletive removed* lets not hope 'Daffy Duck' is on your comittee now!!! Is it because somebody unexpectedly got a pigeon and then somebody thought it a good idea to merit this pigeon and award it 1st open??? surely you cannot make these decisions up as you go along??? If it was made an official national from the beginning there could have been more entries and them this pigeon may have not been the first scottish bird??? It is sad that the stubborniss is still rife amongst you lot who cannot admit failure, your club is going no where, birdage is crap, pool n prize money a joke and the winners are not even recognised! once the big shots withdraw and stop pumping the funds into your club it will crumble for sure! The SNFC has been around for over 100 years, its a pity your club wont last that long! Despite any political backgound regarding the SNFC which i am personally not interested in, it is still and always will be the 'elite club' for scottish long distance pigeon flyers, which i am fully proud of being a member.... So do yourselves a favour and give your pigeons some justice, stop spitting oot the dummy and come fly with us!!! u know its best!!!

A good cross with Van Moorsels
WulDon replied to TopSecretLoft's topic in Breeding, Strains & Families
we have had a fair share success when crossing our direct piet valk pigeons (breeder of van moorsel) with our van loons (planets) -
if fanciers have bother with hawks or peregrines at this time year cant understand why they are even letting them out, as no real need just now to be excercising the doo's

sad day... RIP, the legend will live on in long distance pigeon racing as most long distance lofts carry the newcombe blood.. never forgotten.
-
PRO... Joe Murphy, Scotlands only PRO!! Its about time the 'GREAT SNFC' was the only long distance Scottish Club again, and all the true long distance die hards were united as one and let the true champions come to the front in long distance racing. Lets face it, if i ever won a national i'd rather it was against several thousand pigeons and not just a handful...

any body who even considers cheating is a sad low life B**TARD!!! if some body feels they have to go down this road it doesnt matter what system is in place at the time i suppose with todays technology and so called whizz kids it could be achieved. however, for these suggestions to be put on this forum is an absolute out cry and this post should be wiped... only planting ideas in some 'sado's' head. at club level if union rules are abided by then cheating cannot occur, a pigeon can only be marked if registered with the system initially... two rings cannot be assigned to one pigeon... rings not assigned cannot be used to filter a mock pigeon thro the ringer... there are obviously some fanciers on here who havent used an ETS system as it appears they know 'F' all about the system and how it works. whether liked or not ETS is here to stay so get used to it or get left behind...
